Qualifications for Lifeguards, Swimming Teachers and Coaches, Health Club or Hotel Pool Assistants

The Emergency Response Pool Programme is designed for use in small pools no greater than 1.5m in depth such as a health club or hotel pool.

It is possible to combine the Emergency Response Pool Programme with the Emergency First Aid at Work and attain two qualifications at the same time.

 

NPLQ - National Pool Lifegard Qualification for anyone intersted in becoming a lifeguard.

 

NRASTC - National Rescue Awared For Swim Teachers and Coaches 

NRASTC is a supervision and rescue qualification for teachers working on the poolside or in the water during programmed activities, such as a swimming lesson. It is suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools where the water is deeper than the teachers’ standing depth and meets the Individual sites risk assessment.
